For a third year, Salt Lake City based employees of EnerBank USA have opened their hearts and wallets donating more than 100 gifts to The Christmas Box International’s (CBI) Project Elf Warehouse.
Project Elf offers a fun and meaningful opportunity for groups and individuals to make a difference by fulfilling Christmas wishes for children at The Christmas Box Houses. Christmas Box Houses help those in foster care or receiving in-home services through the State of Utah’s Division of Child and Family Services, as well as youth aged out of foster care and children being raised by relatives.
Lisa McDonald, Executive Director of CBI, stated, “At any given time, there are roughly 2,800 children in foster care throughout Utah. In probably every neighborhood, every school, there will be a child who has experienced abuse, neglect or abandonment.”
“I am continually impressed by the generosity and willingness of our employees to reach-out to those in our community who are in need. In addition to their generous financial donations, our employees are extraordnially generous with their time. They roll up their sleeves and donate countless hours in service to support organizations such as Christmas Box International,” said Louise Kelly, President & CEO EnerBank USA
